Q&A Summary and Video Sat, Sept 14.

For those of you who missed it, we had another Question and Answer session with our users on Saturday Sept 14th.

You may watch our recording of the Q&A here. (Please keep in mind this video is purely a recording of the event and no efforts have been made to make this production quality.)

If you prefer a textual transcript/summary please have a read of that here… (Thanks to Inara Pey for the transcription.)

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary!

Hard to believe it was three years ago when we put together this team and released our first viewer build. We started out with around 10 of us on the team, and today I’ve lost count how many we have. I consider the people on this team to be the most dedicated, most passionate, most caring people any project manager could possible hope for. They truly are the best of the best, and I am honored, privileged and grateful to know you and to work with each of you. Together you are Firestorm!

But we would be nowhere without you, our users, all 284,000+ of you (roughly). It isn’t entirely selfless what we do; the truth is we really do enjoy giving and helping, and without you, our users, we wouldn’t have this vehicle to do that with, without you we couldn’t have accomplished all that we have. You have stuck by us through the good releases and the bad releases, good times and bad times, exciting times and disappointing times, the rise of Phoenix and its fall, the rough beginnings of Firestorm and now its incredible successes as the most popular viewer by a staggering margin. The road stretches on, and we still have much to do. The future is bright, and it’s possible because of you!

Special Gifts!

Firestorm Kitty!firestorm-firekitty-ad
As a token of our thanks and appreciation, we teamed up with KittyCatS!, who have put together the most amazing custom collectible pet to give away to you as a gift. The Firestorm Kitty is a fully functional, non-breedable, non transferable pet for life (meaning you don’t have to feed it, and it will never die). There is a rumor that this is the kitty that ate the Phoenix, but whether it’s true or not is up to you to decide. There is a limit of one per customer, and they will be available inworld for free purchase for a full week starting 9am SLT September 3rd until 9am September 10th.

Party Time!

Finally, the party! Tuesday September 3rd, starting at 1pm SLT, we’ll be holding an Anniversary party here: Phoenix Firestorm Support. Ed will be spinning the tunes, and you’re all invited! There is no end time for the party; we’ll just keep it going until there is no one left. 🙂

Thanks to You All!

Thank you all for sticking by us through good and bad times, and a special thank you to KittyCatS! and Zuri Rayna for developing and donating these very special gifts for us all to enjoy!
