Technical problems (Resolved)

The problems with the website download links and erroneous update notifications on Phoenix and Firestorm Viewer login screens have been resolved.

Again, our sincerest apologies for any confusion and/or inconvenience this may have caused.

  • NO there was no new update, the viewer was showing the current release to be a new update as a result of server maintenance. When you see that notice the easiest way to see if there is a new update is to look at the numbers at the end of the viewer version. such as with the previous release being 4.0.1.XXXXX to version number 4.1.1.XXXXX if the version numbers are the same or show a older version then it is a spoof as a result of technical difficulties.

  • ok good, because when I was inda game it was rl bad as in voice keept
    crapping out alot lol idk why, could not tell if it was the viewer
    or sl lol I did accpit voice permtion,…… I alwsys do on all viewers
    or I would be able to talk lol;-p
    but it got on my nerves lol I am hoppig today will be better ;-)

  • Could u guys check the “phantom mode”. It seems to be locking the avie from keyboard movement (default) but NOT to others avies bumping and pushing around. Thx

  • Hi don`t no what is going on have updated phoenix & my computer will not open it keeps saying Configeration is wrong & to reload have reloaded 10 times & stillno good Hope you can help

  • If you have to report practical issues with Phoenix or Firestorm, please don’t do it here because it will most likely go unnoticed. Either ask the support people in the group »Phoenix/Firestorm Viewer Support« inworld or file a ticket on the JIRA: http://jira.phoenixviewer.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa.

  • I keep getting a message that “This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem”. So far after at least 10 reinstalls, no go. Finally had to download SL Viewer2.

  • whenever to take a snapshot and then click to send it by email… it boots me out of Firestorm and closes the program… this is a new feature of this update
